“I’ve been designing for more years than I care to remember.” Being a Fine Arts major with a minor in art history taught me a lot – one, that’s it’s really difficult to earn a living as a fine artist, and two, a good eye and appreciation for design. What really interested me in New Leaf was the opportunity to work on magazines – something I had never done and looked forward to learning. Plus, I am one of those weird people that actually enjoy working with type.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and our 5 year old daughter. If I’m not with them, or at the office, most likely I am out riding or traveling to race my bicycle.
