"My name’s pronounced “shi
Fa lee”. I changed it when I was ten because I thought it was
more exotic than “Baku”. I was born in India but I’ve
lived in the U.S. most of my life. I love to go back and visit, take
in the beauty, the colors, the aroma. I get a lot of my inspiration
from there!
As for work, I have a balanced graphics background, having worked
in both production and design. So, I keep the “big picture”in
mind when I’m designing. I understand how my design ideas
will play out in print which helps a lot when deciding how to run
with a concept. In our biz, we constantly have new projects
on the horizon, so I have to stay on my toes. But, there’s
never a dull moment in my office, that’s for sure!” |
